Here are a few highlights from the summer course this year!

The kids had a lot of fun, and so did I!

How time flies!

Wow! I can't believe the summer is almost over. It seems to have only just begun.
(Caspita! Non posso credere che l'estate e quasi finita)

So many wonderful and surprising things (and some not so wonderful nor surprising) have happened since I opened last September.
(Tante cose meravigliose e sorprendente (e altre un pò meno) sono successe da quando il centro e stato inaugurato lo scorso settembre)

So many great presentations lead to some great courses. Other presentations did not. Oh well, that's how the cookie crumbles, but I think the presentations are a good idea and will start again in the fall. So let me know if you have an idea for a presentation!
(Tanti presentazioni sono diventati bei corsi, altri non. Va beh! ma credo che le presentazioni valgono e continueranno il prossimo anno. Fatemi sapere se avete le idee per le presentazioni!)

The following courses went wonderfully and we're planning on expanding them this year:

PILATES
YOGA for both children and adults (corsi sia per bambini ed adulti)
GUITAR (chittara)
DANCE MOVEMENT THERAPY (danza movimento terapia)
FULL IMMERSION SUMMER COURSES (Corsi estivi d'inglese per i bambini)
and of course, ENGLISH!!! (e certamente, l'inglese!)

This year I'd like to add some evening and weekend courses as well. Some of the proposals I've received include:

MUSIC THERAPY (musicaterapia)
DRUMS (batteria)
BASS (basso)
PAINTING AND DRAWING (pittura e disegno)
COMPUTER
BELLY DANCING (Danza del ventre)
BOLLYWOOD DANCING

Of course, if you have a course in mind that you would like to teach or something you would like to learn, please feel free to contact me.

And most of all, I have my heart set on starting my BOOK CLUB this year. We'll be meeting one evening a month, and you can read in any language you prefer. The book club will be lead in ITALIAN to facilitate things.
(Più del tutto, vorrei tanto iniziare un club dei libri. Incontreremmo una volta al mese, e potrete leggere nella lingua che preferirete. Si discutono i libri in ITALIANO in modo che tutti possono partecipare.)

There were some things I'm going to be more careful about this year. I'm not a job placement agency, so people who do presentations or advertise through my site and space will be expected to meet with those clients here at The Space, and not take them elsewhere. Otherwise they will no longer be welcome. Live and learn.
(Ceranno certe cose che dovrei essere più attenta quest'anno. Non sono un'agenzia di collocamento, e la gente che hanno fatto le presentazione e pubblicità al centro dovranno incontrare quelle persone qui al centro, The Space, e non altrove. Chi non vuole accettare questa sistema non sarà più benvenuto qui. Si vive imparando.)

Overall, I think the year has been great and I can't wait to begin a new one.
(Perdipiù, credo che l'anno e stato un successone e non vedo l'ora d'iniziare.)
