I recently read this article written by a fellow English teacher and thought to share it here. It talks about different ways to improve your English that anyone can do for free!
BUT, that said, it also talks about the importance of finding the right teacher.
At the Space, we offer many courses in different fields, but today I would like to tell you a little bit about my approach to teaching English.
I have studied music and theater my whole life, and often use these skills in planning my lessons. Many people find this unorthodox approach an innovative way to learn a language.
I also feel it is important to find something in common with each and every student. If we share a common interest the lines of communication remain open and fresh.
The most important thing is to create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere for learning. In particular, adult students have often built up a lot of obstacles towards learning a subject (in this case a foreign language) based on previous negative experiences. Here at The Space, slowly but surely these old walls are taken down brick by brick to discover a new, more open and less painful way of learning.
These techniques are equally useful for both younger and older learners.

Oh! I almost forgot the link to the article by Shanti!
Have fun learning!
